  • Opportunities Fair

    Jobs Volunteering Training All in one place. We are looking for businesses, local groups and training providers with open opportunities that local residents can apply for. – Must be local or accessible from Ashington in under 1 hour via public transport. – You must have accessible application formats including online and paper formats. – The opportunity must be open for applications from 9th February 2026 Do you have a job opening? This event is hosted by Heart of the Hirst Tenant & Resident Group in partnership with Newcastle United Foundation at Hirst Welfare Centre

  • CHRISTMAS PARTY AT ASHINGTON FC

    21st December 2025 2.30pm – 5pm
    The Colliers Bar, Ashington AFC, Woodhorn Lane, Ashington NE63 9FW
    Our annual Kids Christmas Party is back, with a festive disco, party games and a visit from Santa. It’s a lovely event for children under 10 and their families. There are only a limited number of tickets available, so get yours now before they go. Hot chocolate and hot dogs will be on sale during the party. £4 a ticket.
