Archive to Screen: Creative Film Workshops for young people

13th and 14th August 2026, 10am-4pm

Headway Arts Centre, Blyth

Four half-day workshops. You can sign up for just one session or all four! Participants aged 11-18 years. Made possible with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the workshops will give participants the chance to explore Second World War stories from the Northumberland Archives collection and reimagine them through a range of creative mediums, including: Writing and recording original poetry Creating animated artwork Experimenting with stop-motion animation Discovering projection mapping Designing immersive soundscapes
